It was great to talk to some of our affiliates at A4U Expo last week, from the conversations I had, Easycoreg seems to have gone down well amongst it’s users. There are a couple of areas highlighted in which we could improve:
Communication:
A couple of affiliates who are choosing individual campaigns for their content units, would like better communications about campaigns as they go live and are paused, so they can update their units. Whilst the paused offers do not show, it sometimes leaves a blank in their content units.
We did not envisage that affiliates would prefer to hand pick their campaigns, and so didn’t foresee the issues raised, however, as new campaigns are launched and old one’s pulled, we will update this site. Those of you who would only want this information, can subscribe to the Easycoreg Category Feed, either by rss or by email.
We will also be writing in the system, that as we pull campaigns, a different offer (from the same ilk) will be substituted in existing content units until affiliates get the chance to change over themselves.
Lifetime Revenue Share
Apparently we don’t ‘shout’ about this enough among our affiliates and to potential new affiliates – so I will mention it again now:
We offer a lifetime revenue share for all future marketing that we do with your users once they have signed up to the Easycoreg Service. This provides you with three revenue streams from Easycoreg, all ongoing for the life of the users. You get paid from the intial tick box campaigns on the content units; we provide your users then with subsequent marketing which you also get revenue from; plus you can refer other affiliates to our service and get a revenue share from their earnings also.
Our existing affiliates are seeing more revenue generated from their ongoing revenue than from the initial revenue from the content units, remembering this is for the life of their user. So if you cannot be bothered with creating and maintaining your own mailing list, plug in an Easycoreg Content Unit, and let us take care of it for you.
Offers Structure
From our point of view, the automatic category specific content units would be the best option for us and affiliates. Whilst we appreciate there are occasions which affiliates would want to pick their own, we think that the automatic provides greater flexibility and allows us to ‘tweak and control’ the content units to maximise the revenue.
When asked why selecting their own campaigns, a couple of affiliates mentioned that the categories were too broad, and didn’t necessarily provide the right selection of campaigns that they wanted. Our tech team have therefore already added a subcategory structure which will allow campaigns to be grouped more effectively, and campaigns can also be added to multiple categories.
There is now a Free Sim category within the Mobile Phones which will only show free sim card offer campaigns. New subcategories will be added shortly to finer tune the campaigns for you, so that more of you will choose the automated content units.
Incentives
A few affiliates have asked why we have a no incentive policy with Easycoreg. We believe in the quality of our system, to deliver our merchants with quality leads, and so felt that allowing incentives to cloud this could jeopardise the long term viabilty of our model. However as pointed out to us, there are different ways to create a campaign using our content units which are okay with our merchants, so with this in mind, we are open to your suggestions on specific campaigns you would like to run with our content units.
Each idea will be reviewed on it’s merit, and advice sought from merchants before the idea gets approval. To send in your ideas, please submit a support ticket from your admin area.
